Tumblr of a Fangirl
Hi. I recommend you check the archive first before following. It's a random mess.
Developers have acknowledged the next game will not be like this. So no worries.
This is a criticism that I can get on board with. It’s jarring. I’m not sure why it extended so long to be honest.
I wouldn’t have such a problem if that huge span of time served a purpose and was actually reflected in the game. Hawke and the companions don’t age, the companions wear the same clothes, and the city itself bears no physical differences for ten years straight.
And when we actually arrive in Kirkwall, we don’t even get to experience Hawke’s first year there! I wish that was included in Act I. Also, I find it hard to believe that Hawke and sibling wouldn’t need to seek medical attention from a free clinic if they were running about with mercenaries/smugglers. (I guess the case for that is Bethany or mage Hawke know healing magic, but still.)

Including that part, yeah, it does.

just make me wonder how bad anders blue balls were by the time he gets you , specially if you wait till end of act 2.....
love the game, but...like ten years passed.
I think it would have been good if they had conveyed it better. It didn’t bother me, however I didn’t really feel as if...
While I do think that ten years was way too long, I can still see the benefit of having time passing by in this game. I...
It’s very unrealistic if events happen one after another without a time gap. Would anyone have played the game if it...
Only because they skipped 6 years. And in those 6 years NOTHING HAPPENED. Nothing times 80,000, absolutely nothing. Like...
